Hello everyone, 

As many of who will know, ORCA Local Gosforth is launching to an eager community very soon - just thought I'd share with you all my day out with Stuart (who came down from H.O to see how i was getting on). Anyway, here goes;

First thing's first; we had a brain storming session(cup of tea and a chat) before we ventured out!

Our 1st meeting was with a carpet shop - thanks to the owner's 12 year old grandchild, who helped us explain the value of the Internet. Result: another client onboard!

Next up was a traditional barbers (43 years at it). He hid in his office and let his partner deal with it. After a while he ventured out,looked, listened and LOVED it!!

Lastly was a Deli who I'd already had a 1st meeting with and guess what? He loved ORCA Local too!

After a break for some lunch went back out and signed another 3 businesses up!

I'd like to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Stuart (my able assistant - many thanks for coming down) and helped me understand "stay calm, focused and get them to be your friend"!!

I had a real fun day and feel very good about myself, having made a real difference to several businesses in my local community!

As Wallace & Gromit might say; It was a 'grand day out'!
